A binary executable is computer program in machine language. There are two
types of programs, programs which are human readable, and programs which are in
machine language. Programs which are human readable, often referred to as executable
scripts, must be translated into a language that a machine can recognize. Machine
language is instructions which can be executed by the machine without any translation.
Hence binary executables can be directly executed without any translation.
